Characteristics and Applications:
1. Fine and smooth surface:
a good choice for products that require high quality
surface appearance, such as sheet metal for
automobiles and home appliances.
2. Various and uniform mechanical property:
CQS used for drum body, CQ1 for pipe, SPCE
(deep drawing quality) for automobile parts which
requires strict shaping operations, and high strength
steel used for various kinds of structural parts.
3. Good ductility and malleability:
enhancing surface hardness and abrasiveness through
carburization and nitriding making the surface hard and
durable. Examples are S35CM(medium-high carbon
steel) used in chains and SPP (heat resistant and low
carbon steel) used in enamel treatments. Cold-rolled
steel can be galvanized, electro-galvanized or
laminated, therefore has a wide range of applications.
