Aluminum Plates               Available Specification & Sizes

After being thoroughly processed through scalping, re-heating, hot rolling, stretch leveling, and sawing, aluminum slabs are transformed into aluminum plates. Heat treated plates are also treated with a solid solution process after hot rolling. CSAC’s high strength alloy plates are widely recognized for their homogenous chemical composition, good mechanical properties, and exact sizes and dimensions, making them a popular choice in manufacturing precision molds and in industries that use machinery. 

Aluminum plates are gaining more applications in the field of transportation as a substitute material to reduce weight, conserving valuable energy as a result. Aluminum plates have traditionally been used in aviation and building ships, but have also been used in the automobile and motorcycle industries.

     Aluminum Sheets and Coils

      Aluminum sheet and coil products are mainly used in construction and electronic and consumer products. In construction, aluminum products are used for curtain walls, cladding, ceilings, heat insulation, and venetian blinds. Aluminum products are also used in manufacturing a multitude of electrical appliances, including telecommunications equipment, PC board drilling guide sheets,  lighting and heat radiating materials. In the consumer industry, aluminum products are used in the production of lightweight automobile engine hoods and other internal parts, bus frames, and air cargo containers. Aluminum is widely used for parasols and umbrellas, food packaging, cooking utensils, and a variety of sports equipment.

      Aluminum Foil

      Aluminum foil is produced through a controlled process of rolling and annealing cold rolled coils until it reaches the target thickness of under 0.2 mm. This process is then followed by tempering the newly made foil. Recently, a large variety of new aluminum foils have been developed to meet diverse demands of the consumer product market. Because aluminum foil is regard as an excellent thermal insulator and heat conductor, it is a suitable choice for heat exchangers in air conditioning systems and refrigerators, especially as fin-stock. CSAC supplies all types of pre-coated fin-stock in addition to the basic type of fin-stock.
 
        More hydrophilic and corrosion resistance coated fin-stocks are now being used to increase heat exchanging efficiency, as a way to conserve energy and improve the EER (Electric Efficiency Ratio) value of air conditioners. CSAC is also addressing pressing environmental concerns through the research and development of pre-coating materials for its coating lines, and through the emphasis of providing improved waste treatment facilities on each line.
 
      Due to its effectiveness at shielding electro-magnetic waves, aluminum foil is commonly used as an insulator for cables and other electronic components. Besides, because foil has a high electrical capacitance, it is used to make anodes and cathodes for electrolytic capacitors as well. 
 
      After it is laminated with plastic or paper, aluminum foil can also be used to packaging protection from sunlight, and  preservation of the freshness in a large range of consumer items (tetra-pack containers, food packaging, cigarette packaging, can-seals, etc.)
