　　Due to excellent formability, steel is extensively applied for industrial and commercial purposes, but it can get rusted easily because of its tendency to react with oxygen. The zinc acts as a barrier and protective film that blocks the surface steel from contacting oxygen in air and water. The second measure of defense stems from the zinc’s inherent properties. Zinc atoms are more active than iron atoms which allow them to be oxidized first to form a protective layer of oxide.

 CSC’s hot-dipped galvanized steel products are divided into two main categories:

1.Galvanized steel sheets –using cold-rolled steel as base material  then coated with a thin zinc layer, is widely used for construction, 3C and automobile purposes.

2. Galvannealed steel sheet – Coated with a zinc-iron alloy coating, and it also provides excellent formability and is largely applied for automobiles and home appliances.
